wolves notes

Day one notes – I was impressed by Marko Jaric. I think the jury’s still out about his clutch ball-handling ability but he proved to be steady and a mess to deal with for the opposing point guard offensively and defensively.

I missed McCants, though I heard he was effective, though they must not have played him late.

Eddie Griffin looked great, but it’s clear that the guy could add at least another reb or two and probably and extra 3 points per game if he stopped camping on the three line. He’s an average at best three point shooter. The Wolves don’t need a 6’9” guy to go 2 for 6 from the three line; they need size inside or at least at the high post.
